On the 11th of December 2014 The United Nations officially (and unanimously) proclaimed the 21st of June as The International Day of Yoga and, since its inception, this day has been celebrated across the world. The theme for the 2018 celebrations is "Yoga for Peace", and I invite you to share this day - with me and with others ...
The word Yoga means “to yolk” (unite, bring together) and to pass on the spirit of International Yoga Day, I invite you - come alone or bring a friend - to a generosity-based Beginners YIN YOGA class on either
Monday 18th June 2018 (09h30 – 10h45) or
Wednesday 20th June 2018 (08h30 – 09h45).
Max 12 people per class - no previous yoga experience necessary - beginners & first-timers are very welcome to join.
Bookings essential on a first-come basis.

What is a generosity-based class?
Come just exactly as you are and let your heart and personal financial situation be your guide as to what you chose to contribute toward studio expenses. From loose change in your pocket to R100, your contribution will help pay for studio expenses, and the balance will help provide much needed funding for a local primary school lunch / feeding project.
Yoga is a wonderful, healing, peaceful practice, and I love to share it. Yoga is much more than simply movement; it helps create a refined awareness.
It helps open the mind to see a different perspective; open the heart to experience something in a new and different way. It helps to keep our focus on the here and now, bypassing all those random thoughts constantly churning in our “monkey mind".
All this helps us maintain a solid and peaceful core, at the same time creating a “one-ness” with the world around us and everyone in it.
