Creative Mapping of Possibilities

Do you have a clear sense of where you’re heading?

Or are you curious about what might emerge if you give yourself space to explore?

An embodied creative exploration of

what might be possible and the directions you may want to explore.

This morning workshop invites you to slow down and listen differently.

To notice what feels aligned, what no longer does, and what might be

emerging or asking to be explored.

Through words, images, guided creative writing, reflection, somatic mapping, experimentation, playfulness and curiosity we'll explore possibilities, ideas and directions - allowing some things to become clearer through the process rather than trying to work them out in advance.

You don't need to be “creative” or have any art experience.

You don't even need to be able to draw a stick figure.

Creativity isn't something reserved for artists. We all have a creative spark, and sometimes it simply needs space, permission and play to re-emerge.

You may discover a new perspective, a sense of direction, a possibility you hadn't considered, something you want to make more room for or simply reconnect with your own creative energy in a small group setting.

Rather than trying to work out "what should I do next",

we'll become curious about something else:

What already has energy for me?

The morning is a blend of:

Somatic awareness

noticing how your body responds to what feels right, wrong, expansive or constricting.

The Creative Way

reconnecting with curiosity, creativity and the parts of yourself that may have become quiet.

Ikigai-inspired exploration

discovering what brings meaning, vitality, contribution and aliveness.

Reflective Enquiry

clarifying values, choices and possibilities

Creative writing

using words, prompts, free-writing and imagination to explore thoughts, feelings, and possibilities that may not emerge through ordinary thinking.

Boundary exploration

recognising that boundaries aren't only about saying no. They can also reveal what you want to protect, invite more of, make space for and move towards.

You'll leave with your own personal visual map of possibility

You might also leave with a spark of creativity, a fresh source of inspiration, greater clarity on something you've been wondering about, or simply the pleasure of making and exploring in good company.

No art experience needed. No life plan to arrive with.

BODHI SOMATICS

AN INTRODUCTION TO SOMATICS

DAY RETREAT

SATURDAY 20 JUNE 2026

CALLING ALL MOVEMENT & HEALING PROFESSIONALS

(INCL. DOCTORS, THERAPISTS, COUNSELLORS, LIFE COACHES

WELLNESS PRACTICTIONERS, TEACHERS, FACILITATORS)

This day is designed specifically for people whose work involves working

with others through conversation, the body or attention.  A space to receive rather than give. To experience somatics directly, while noticing what it is doing in your own body.

INTRODUCTORY OFFER:

INVESTMENT - R1500 PER PARTICIPANT

BODY INTELLIGENCE – CULTIVATING AWARENESS THROUGH THE BODY

Most of what we deal with in life is processed through thinking,

talking and making sense of it.

But experience doesn’t only sit in thought.

It shows up in the body too - in breath that changes, shoulders that tighten, posture that shifts, energy that drops or spikes,

a nervous system that contracts or settles.

THIS DAY IS ABOUT NOTICING THAT LAYER.

Not necessarily analysing or

fixing it. Just noticing it while it is happening.

A day of somatic exploration

We work with attention, breath, movement and sensation.

You’ll notice how quickly the body responds to memory, thought, and interaction - and how the body responds before we consciously think about it

There is movement, stillness, and space to feel what is present.

Small group. Soft space. 8 people max.

A DAY OF YOGA & SATSANG WITH SRI SWAMI VIDYANANDA:

HOW DO I LIVE YOGA ONCE I LEAVE THE STUDIO?

HOW DO WE MAKE DECISIONS AND STAY STEADY WHEN IT MATTERS?

The core teachings of Yoga are not abstract.  They offer practical ways to approach everyday life with more clarity and balance. This includes how we handle work, relationships and family life, as well as how we respond in real situations as parents, partners or members of our community.

This day is an opportunity to explore how yoga extends beyond the mat into the choices we make and the way we live.

You are warmly invited to join us.  The day includes yoga asana (movement), meditation, reflection and philosophical teachings, guided by visiting teacher Sri Swami Vidyananda from Ananda Kutir Ashram, Cape Town.

We are delighted to welcome Sri Swami Vidyananda to Amandari in Greyton. This is a rare opportunity to spend time with a teacher deeply rooted in the yoga tradition.

REVIVE

DAY RETREAT

18 APRIL 2026

9.00am - 16.30am

REVIVE is a quiet invitation to pause.

Crafted for facilitators, teachers, caregivers,

empaths, HSPs, and the natural “Givers” and “Fixers” among us.

If you feel quietly depleted from over-stimulation, taking on too much responsibility, or naturally respond by giving, caring, supporting or holding space for others, this retreat offers space to recalibrate and balance your own energy.

Sharing simple tools and gentle practices that help sustain your energy while continuing to care for others and remaining steady in the flow of giving.

The day unfolds through gentle somatic movement, meditation, guided reflective writing, creative exploration and time in the garden.

Activities follow a shared, supportive rhythm. Moving in a way that feels right for you while still connecting with the group energy.

With limited places available, the retreat is intentionally small, creating a calm and carefully held environment where group flow feels balanced with personal space.

Please note that at times the retreat will move into periods of silence, allowing space for deeper reflection and calm.

If this feels like the right day for you,

or you’d like to learn more,

please visit here for more info:

or DM me - I’d be happy to answer any questions and

GEN NAMKYEN

A Courageous Heart in Difficult Times.

If we value inner development by following a spiritual path more than external development, difficulties don’t have to be a problem.

We learn good qualities such as love, compassion and wisdom often rather from our failures, or wishes not being fulfilled, than from getting everything we want in exactly the way we want.

Even though our present time, with a world that is very unstable, brings many problems, it can also be an opportunity for inner development and spiritual growth. We can learn what is really important, and what isn’t.

We will explore how to be courageous in these difficult times, and instead of being discouraged, how to use all our problems to erode away our delusions, such as anger, self-cherishing and jealousy, and finally find pure, lasting inner peace.
