Universal breath

We begin meditation by following the breath.

We notice the breath. We observe the breath.

We realise the breath is not a "thing" but a process.

Breath is universal. When we breathe, we don't breathe a Hindu breath or a Christian breath or an Buddhis breath.

Through breath we connect to the mind's process.

Through connecting to the mind's process, we learn to still the mind.

When we still the mind, we train the mind to remain undisturbed even through difficulties.
